Tip of the day

Well, i am back to the watercolor practice, and one thing i have to tell you, paper beyond 200 gr is really a mess to paint in watercolor, but with a little patience you got it. The bad (or not so good) quality of the camera don`t show that the paper is ondulating because of the water, so i guess you get the tip and this is rule number one for good watercolor paintings.
Rule 1 - Use good watercolor paper so it will absorve better the water.
Rule 2 - You will have to use some layers to put the colors more strong so start with soft moves at the beggining and then put less water in the brush and start the details, because if you put too much you can just put more lighter with white (i use white in tube)
Rule 3 - The perspective is really important when you have background, later i can give some tips.
Rule 4 - The things that are more far from your view usually are with more soft colors.

Well, you have much more rules that you can learn but i think those are really importants.
Have a good day, the sun is shining and if i am in the mood i will finish this watercolor ;)
